Ok guys... not sure how many of you read the Hasbro Q & A's but here is a little tid bit strait from Hasbro...
"One more note in vintage....it will start to appear on-shelf on or about 6/1. Because of this timing, we will not be making as many figures as we did in 2006, and are cutting back some to 2004 levels to ensure we don't have a lot of lingering stock this Fall. Collectors should make sure to get them when they see them because they will not be as abundant as they were in 2006."
sounds like this is going to be one hell of a hunt...especially if you want 2 sets like a lot of people will...

| It sounds to me like they want everyone to think they will be difficult to find so that when there "is lingering stock " someone will remember what they said back in MArch and buy them all. Well maybe not but I agree with George . Why short change one of the most popular toys out right now. |

ya... I see what you guys are saying... does seem a little wierd that they mentioned it in a Q and A and the question they were answering had NOTHING to do with how avilable the Vintage line would be...
I really just hope the release these in the non heat sealed cases.... although I doubt that will happen...

you gotta also look at what they put out in 2006 too. Greedo?! Instant pegwarmer. Bossk this year? Ok, this single character pretty much ended the titanium figures line in itself!

| He's quoted as saying 2004 levels. I don't recall having any problems finding figures in 2004, so I don't expect to have any issues in 2007. |

ya... it is for a set of 5 coins that go along with the 5 vintage figures... they will come in there own case though because the main coin case does not have spots for them...
I could be wrong... but the exclusive coin that was given away at toy fair *might* also be part of this set... which would bring the total up to 6 with there own case... not positive though...
EDIT: Well scratch what I said... I just looked it up over at RS and here is what they have listed under the coin album info:
The 30th Anniversary Coin Album has slots for 80 coins:
60 coins in the basic figure line
7 different coins in the Saga Legends line
6 coins in the Vintage figure line
1 exclusive coins from Toy Fair/2007 UGH promotion
?? plus a few more surprises!
so there ya have it... how much of a pain do you think the toy fair/ugh coin it going to be?

I think that Luke Bespin will go pretty well too. The X-Wing one did. Even with the high production numbers on the VTSC figures, not many Lukes made it to clearance.
I think the new ones will be easy to find, though. Just not falling off the pegs like the VTSC figures were. Look how many of those VTSC are still around!
If they go back to VOTC numbers that will be OK. All of those could be pretty easily had, at least for a period. Heck, some of those even got blown out in discount stores at the end...
